The Mile High City is exactly one mile (5280 feet or 1609.3 meters) above sea level, the highest major city in the United States. The University of Denver (DU) campus lies just southeast of city center in a charming residential neighborhood, near plenty of restaurants and access to Colorado's playground: the Rocky Mountains.

Denver weather in March can bring everything from sunny skies to spring snowstorms. Dress in layers; prepare for anything, and stay hydrated! We hope you will consider staying a few extra days to explore Colorado's many offerings, including skiing, hiking, golf, local craft breweries, shopping, and a robust performing arts and festival scene.

The Josef Korbel School of International Studies is one of the world's leading schools for the study of international relations. Our innovative programs provide students the skills, knowledge and expertise needed to become global leaders in the public, private and nonprofit sectors. We look forward to welcoming you!
